People have entrusted him with millions of dollars in marketing. For this interview, Priest Lane kept everything extremely simple. Why? Because he is a firm believer in the Bruce Lee quote “ Simplicity is the key Brilliance.” He says “ Once I simplify everything I maximize growth for my clients and I basically overnight.” Priest Lane always open to give his opinion whether it’s about marketing, cryptocurrency, or his favorite pastime anime.

You guys want to know his 3 Keys to marketing? Well here goes…..

  1. Awareness — The first part of the 3 keys to marketing. This will focus on bringing cold traffic or new traffic to your business website. This is best done through SEO and PPC when applicable.

First things first, dealing with cold traffic. The people you are targeting are not familiar with your brand, solution, or product/services. The best way to capture this traffic is through google searches.

If you want to thrive on Google search engine, you need to optimize not only your Google My Business account, but you also need to improve your on-page SEO by updating your websites and integrating keywords.

Take for example, if you are trying to attract leads that are searching for a local realtor or dentist. You must have the right keywords to rank higher on that search. Pay-Per-Click campaigns are also a great way to drive cold leads to a website or lead funnel, but may not be the most cost effective choice if there is low competition in the area.

This step of the marketing keys may differ depending on your business. For Instance, some industries like restaurants or beauty salons would be able to engage with their audience through just a social media strategy hosting contest and giveaways.

This captures customers attention and sends the customer to their website or landing page through creative, fun posts. In that case, SEO optimization is not as necessary for these entertainment type businesses.

2. Thinking — This part of the 3 keys to marketing is where you start to focus more on social media and building a custom audience.

You will do this by using the leads you captured from your website or landing page, either by giving their email or performing an action. Once they interact with your website, tools like a Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics Tracking Code use all the data that you have compiled to re-target those individuals.

Using Email, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. (If you manage to capture their email in an interaction), you want to re-target that audience to convince the potential customer that your client’s product or service is the best choice.

The process of moving a prospective customer from the awareness stage to the thinking stage involves keeping your client top of mind. The goal is to make sure they are thinking about you consistently. As the lead has already interacted with your product, you know they are already aware. Now you have to keep them aware of your brand so that they consider them as they think on the decision to make a purchase or take an action.

3. Conversion — Finally the last step of the 3 steps of marketing is converting the lead into a buyer. This is where you utilize social proof, testimonials, authority pieces, and value pieces.

In this final stage, new traffic is generated via site visits, landing page activity, social media page engagement, and other interactions with your content. Through this, prospective customers might have requested more information by submitting a form, setting an appointment, subscribing to an email list, or other calls to action.

The final goal is to have the potential customer take action. Make sure you have optimized your website and/or landing pages. You don’t want to lose someone to small errors like a submission form error. These errors add up and can cost you a lot of money.
